Soon bigger than soccer
Well hope these people enjoyed. Tons of fun fights and finishes.
That’s common sense though...
ESPN is much more popular than Fox Sports...
It also came on directly after a big college basketball game...
Smart having the Cowboy fight headline that sub-section of event.
nice start. Cowboy is a big draw. Right choice having him headline the prelims.
Nice. MMA staying power.
Obviously effeminite SJWs are rabid MMA fans unlike all those mouth-breathing right-wingers who glare at Fox.
People over 50 don't know what they missed. Morons.
The ufc is living..
Dad cerrone is a huge draw
Cowboy is a big drawl...
Those are good numbers. Do bars account into that number? If not, even better.
Knowing that I can go to a chilis or fridays and have them showing a ufc is awesome. I used to ask to switch to FS1 when i would go out and they would ask whats on? When i would say UFC I was always told, "we cant show that sorry" If its already on though I doubt they would change it.
Thats more than the last 2 fox shows. So far this deal looks like a homerun for both espn and UFC
wait so who conned who now?
Globally speaking, MMA is nowhere even close to being bigger than soccer.
That's not really saying much. Neither Fox nor the UFC even bothered promoting those shows.
The numbers are still lower than what they used to average on Spike nearly a decade ago.
They lost so many TV viewers with the content being buried on FS1/2 all those years.
The increase in revenue is good though. (Too bad none of it is going to the fighters.)
