No they don't. Askren is all but forgotten in this part of the world, despite all the noises he's attempting to make on Twitter. A lot of those people in Strikeforce went on to make names for themselves, and some of them, like Diaz and Lawler already had. Askren has been around for a while now, and nobody that he has fought has ever gone anywhere, other than that one guy that beat Benson. Way passed his prime, and fighting out of his natural weight class Benson. Askren has been crushing cans that have gone nowhere for almost a decade now. If anyone that he beat is about to be someone of relevance, they better hurry up and do it.

He hasn't been very active in the last two years and lacked high profile fights since leaving Bellator. If anything, his stock has gone down since signing with One FC. And by the way, I don't think he burnt any bridges with the UFC. Rampage and Barnett said much worst things than him and they still got welcomed back.

I go to youtube and watch his fights if I'm having trouble sleeping, I've never managed to watch him win, I'm asleep long before that.
Yes he's very good and he could well win the UFC WW belt but his style isn't something I want to watch.
