This is their absolute last chance. With the UFC's hype machine, even if they paid Fedor $5M to fight for them, they will make their money back and then some. Fedor's highlight reel alone will intrigue people to tune in when it's time for him to throw down in the Octagon. My only concern is that he's not very vocal and doesn't speak English so he won't be able to make the media rounds like Connor but I still think the UFC is safe if they sign him now. Will he make the UFC money if they signed him to a 1 year or 3 fight $5M contract? Thoughts?

They signed Overeem to a massive deal with a 1 million dollar signing bonus. I don't see why Fedor couldn't be given something similar.

I would offer him 1 million a year, 3 fight deal, PPV points and an individual Reebok deal. I think that's more than fair.

UFC would make that money back very easily. If anything, they can really push Fight Pass and PRIDE footage by having Fedor under their roster. It also brings a lot of credibility ot the orginization.

A few "Fedor is coming" video packages and you're going to get mainstream fans intrigued. He's not going to be doing 1 million PPV buys but at least 500+ with the right hype and if he looks good, it'll only get better.

To this date, Fedor's ratings in Strikerforce are record breaking and have outdrawn nearly every UFC on Fox and Fight Night show.

He can speak English, so I'm sure that wouldn't be a huge problem if they demanded it of him.

Hey Sherpony can you explain to me what this question means?

"Will he make the UFC money if they signed him to a 1 year or 3 fight $5M contract?"

He's not a draw. Why pay him McGregor money when he won't bring in as many viewers?

No he's not. He never was. He has hardcore fans, but not the masses.

WHY? He wasn't very good 2 years ago in STRIKEFORCE, why will he be good now? Maybe the UFC could get Randy Couture back and we can finally see that fight. The legend Fedor is done, may his legacy last forever.

He's never been a good draw, I doubt they would make 5 million off him.
