Seriously, what the fuck were they thinking? Anyone with common sense would have figured Holly was too skilled for her. A clear UD for Holm was always the most likely outcome. Especially after such a long layoff.

Now they've lost an obvious challenger to Cyborg. And I'll say this now. HER CHANCES AGAINST CYBORG ARE VERY SLIM. But they've lost a main or co main event in the near future. Megan is young and has time, but she'll have to get a good win before she gets any title considerations.

Why didn't they give her someone she matches up well against and would be able to showcase her MT skills? Like Yana, Evinger or Lansberg, fighters Cyborg already beat. It makes no sense.

Also, who else noticed Buffer mispronouncing her first name? If I know how to pronounce it, he sure as he'll should.

Edit: I realize Nunes vs. Cyborg is the fight to make, but I'm just talking about how they handled Megan.

And we know this now, but Cyborg is a much more interesting clash of styles because I don't think she'll even try to take it to the ground and Megan looked good the 30 seconds she threw on her feet.

Buffer has one job and he can't do it properly. Whenever there is a majority decision or something out of the ordinary, he has to leave the cage and have someone else do the math for him or whatever the hell it is he does. It's so weird.

most of the odds were -150 for holly......so your perspective about how obvious or lopsided EVERYONE thought the fight was is simply not correct.
 
Lol claim Holly was clearly too skilled for Megan then go on to say UFC lost a contender for Cyborg lol wut? If Holly is too skilled for Megan WTF do you think Cyborg would do to her? If Holly is clearly a bad match up for Megan Cyborg is even more so..

She's an Invicta champ. She's not untested and honestly, I don't think she looked bad.
 
It's a division of 2-3 women. Hard to mess up. She was either going to win and be an instant star or lose and still be a contender because there's no one else in the division.
 
There are 3 fighters in the Division. Cyborg, Holm and Anderson, and any BW that is willing to move up, if she would have won she already would have been fighting for the title.

The worst thing is that Holy already lost to Cyborg, so now they lost the only "credible" top opponent Cyborg had...

Invicta champ means nothing, Angela hill was a invicta champ for crying out loud and she can't do shit in the ufc. Megan was largely un tested she fought cans mainly and lost some to cans too. She had no grappling she made Holly looked like Maia on the ground.

Well said. Megan is well liked and has skills. Her career will be fine. We can't build a division by adding each girl to the roster after they challenge cyborg. They need to challenge each other as well.
 
Not really, she simply fought a better fighter, boring as f...but better.

There's like 3 fighters in the division, Holly and Megan are two of them. As I recall, she also had her chance to face Cyborg at 214 but pulled out due to "personal reasons".

Honestly baffled she was as hyped as she was, she got choked out by Dandois!! Her best wins were two journeywomen in Peggy Morgan and Charmaine Tweet.
 
I agree. We had the perfect sacrifice to the JBG and the UFC had to derail it. JBG is not going to be pleased and he'll take avenge on us by screwing several of the upcoming cards.

Because 3/4 of sherdoggers never actually cared to watch her fights and they simply gave their assessment on her skills based on her Instagram pics of her butt.

Dude, odds don't mean shit. A lot of drunk casuals bet and move lines. I think anyone with deep knowledge of MMA should have seen this happening. Also, my point is they gave her a really tough opponent and her stock is now way down.
