Nick couldnt be ready and in fight shape soon enough for the ufc to capitalize off of the mastival gold rush. Hes hot now. They are taking a chance in a way if marty wins. But if marty kos him brutally they have a great champ who broke colbys jaw and knocked out the bmf..and made the former champ look helpless. His personality isnt great but still his skills would be undeniable. If jorge wins it's even better and they could still let nick jump everyone for a title fight whether its bmf or the real title.

You don’t know what will happen in that fight. When Usman got very emotional with the fight against Colby all he did was stand and bang. Same thing can happen with this fight. And I think Jorge won’t just sit on his back, he’s always been a guy who’s hard to wrestle with.

But saying you’d rather see Diaz fight is crazy. Get yourself out of 2010 brother it’s 2020, Nick Diaz is long gone.
