That’s not the fight people are interested in! It doesn’t draw shit!

The real money fight and the only fight people wants to see is Masvidal vs Nick Diaz!

Nick wanted this fight, so does all the fans! Fook UFC for not making this and Masvidal needs to stop ducking Nick

    shut up you dork

no one cares about nick diaz anymore, his last win was 10 years ago against declined BJ. he is a retired alcoholic now. nick was great in his prime but he should not come back

Masvidal vs Usman is the fight to make

Yeah kind of a shame. You know the masvidal hype train is about to get derailed. They shoulda cashed some paydays.

I’m ok with that because at least the champ is going to defend and stay active. Usman had a long break between Woodley and Covington fights.

    Are you kidding me

nick has to beat some entrance level fighter before my faith in him restores. Usman and Masvidal would hurt Nick badly and so would everyone else in top 15. Be real

Jorge would annihilate Nick, but TS ain't lyin, that'd draw twice as much as Mas/Marty.

He left the sport at a relatively high level. Yes he had a long ban. My argument to you should be with a ban THAT long, if they do get him back, the number of fights is probably not extensive right? He’s not gonna go through the motions of being ranked 20th and working his way back up. He’s a known commodity, and he will probably give you at most 3-4 fights.

he however, has a history of being unreliable. I throw him in on an msg card as the third or fourth bout with someone like an Anthony pettis. Something to get the people going, but I’m not putting all my eggs in that basket. You know?

    Nah this fight works.

Masvidal has hype and might not be the number 2 guy in the division but he makes sense for a title fight.

Given the way that Woodley did nothing and how competitive Colby was, I actually think Masvidal will force this into an entertaining scrap. I think with Masvidal's scrambling he'll prevent Usman from definitively taking rounds with takedowns.

I'm quite intrigued by this fight to be honest.

Masdival vs Usman is a good fight, but its a big bet by Masdival on himself. If he wins, he becomes a BIG star in the UFC. If he loses, he might lose all the fast momentum he has built up.

I respect that hes taking a shot at the belt instead of an easier money fight.

You obviously are a lifetime fan of Nick but I dont get how you would like him to get into a title fight out of retirement. At least if its about winning. His last mildly relevant win was close to 10 years ago and these wins were nothing of the caliber as Usman or Colby...etc.are

Nick would have tried to get a fight if he wanted to, and then one he could at least be competitive. A title fight would only be a money grab and no fan of the sport should want to see that.

Imo Nicks competitive days are long gone and he isnt even interested anymore in fighting which is fine.
