[Insert pee joke here]
Eyebrows on fleek.
Machida fathers Jones.
Those babies r 2 qt
Incorrect thread title. Machida is not a legend. Legendary pee drinker, maybe. But UFC legend? Nah.
I bet this turns into a discussion on whether he is a legend or not
The Dragon !!!
he sure sounds pissed off
no. athletes are not, and should not, be role models. end of story.
Yes they should. MMA is big now. And MMA fighters are warriors, disciplined and honorable athletles [at least they should be]. Every martial art has its philosophy and respect.
Influence is the key word I think.
Ba dum... Tsss!
So, he's just a decent fighter? A guy who is fighting in the highest level of the sport for almost a decade. Shogun has 3 decent years, and is an inquestionable legend. BJ Penn wins 5 big fights and is considereded the greatest of his division. Lyoto for sure is a legend.
so it's up to jon jones to raise your kid? where do you fit into this equation? what if jones comes up to your kid and tells him or her to do something you don't approve of? does his opinion override yours?
take care of your own damn kids. people are lazy as hell nowadays.
it doesn't matter, in my opinion. you can't expect other adults who are not related to you to be moral heroes in society. they have no obligation to make a good impression on your kid.
people must be trolling me, right? god i hope so.
Nowadays, whetever you want it or not, MMA fighters influences millions of young people. Kids are fullfilling gyms, and training bjj, muai thay, boxing, and their idols are guys such as GSP, Royce, Anderson, Machida, and they train and want to be, someday, great as those fighters. And what those fighters do will eventually influence those kids.
I thought the same thing.
Lol beat you to it
