You mean the guy who won his last five fights and finished the guy who came closest to beating Jones? Should no one get title shots anymore if they've lost to other guys? It's not like any of those guys got cut. They made career moves and left.
While we're on the topic, Glover has a solid shot at winning a rematch against anyone that isn't Jones.
Corey Anderson is hit and miss.
Gus has looked off for a few years.
Davis is pretty inconsistent in his performances.
Hell, even Rumble would probably be submitted in the rematch. That's kind of his M.O. He either wins violently or he chokes.
