it would be great to see all ufc fighters move to other companies. The ufc doesnt represent what it once did (the best fighters). Its simply just trying to make money off of fighters and paying those who bring in fans more money rather than promoting fighting skill, technique, and ability. the only reason i watch certain ufc fights is because it has fighters i want to support (edgar, cruz, faber, khabib, and others) if the fighters i appreciated left the ufc i would def stop watching ufc fights completely. the ufc doesnt represent the best of mma fighters anymore and to anyone who loves mma i def reccommend watching other organizations (bellator, wsof, rizin, etc) and pick your favorite fighters. if you disagree please explain why.

But thats what the UFC are putting out as competitive fights while that was a 100% freak show according to Bellator. Kimbo and Dada are older then Dinosaures and way past there peak so it was a given freak show on paper and before hand. while Conor-Siver was just 1yr ago or Miocic-maldonado as competitive fights. It's reallly not that hard to know that it's no more sport

UFC is still the big show.
UFC will swallow whatever org that is a threat, so UFC will always be #1.
i dont think you understood what i was saying. im saying that other organizations have top notch fighters that can beat top notch fighters in the ufc and are simply over looked because they arent in the ufc. the ufc used to stand for only the greatest fighters and it truly doesnt anymore

Currently the UFC is still the home to the vast majority of the best fighters. And it's not even close.
However, if the UFC don't start to change the way they do things (Reebok, unjustified title shots, throwing fighters under the bus in the media etc) then we could see a big enough exodus of fighters that Bellator could start to offer real competition. It's already starting with Bendo etc jumping ship and guys like Rory are testing free agency.
However, Bellator, WSOF etc still have a long way to go though.
Honestly, even if Reebok up their fucking game and produce gear that ppl want to buy, that could be enough. If they actually produced great looking shirts etc, that might go a long way towards patching the hole left by the loss of sponsorships.

Just because they're aware it's a freak show fight doesn't make it any better.
Both Siver and Maldonado are good fighters who don't have two heart attacks caused by cutting weight to hit 265. They just aren't on the same level as McGregor or Miocic.

Well that makes my point even stronger it was a freak show Mismatch and shouldn't have been sanctioned anywhere and you can add Cormier-Hendo aswell. Cormier ragdolling a 44-yr hendo smh
most people seem to only watch the ufc because they feel they are the top notch fighters. have you watched other organizations? if you only like ufc fighters thats fine but i feel people should def expand their horizons and seek fighters elsewhere if the ufc cant supply them with the skill and technique others can. fighters in other organizations are at least equal to fighters in the ufc

I enjoy watching Gaethje, Askren, Venom, Chandler and believe they can compete with UFC fighers. But what does "picking your favorite fighter" have to do with if the are good or not?

do you think the champions in the ufc are the best fighters in their weightclass? imagine if boxing allowed fighters who werent the best fighters to be champions. imagine if mayweather and pacman werent the best fighters and the organization allowed it to happen. would that be a proper organization?

Will Brooks comes to mind. I think he can make any fight boring and win a decision. I'd watch him fight RDA for sure. Not saying he'd win but it's an interesting match up. Brooks is a physical beast with good grappling. That's about it though. He'd straight up make McTapp look like he didn't belong in the cage.
