Lets be real, USADA has been a nightmare for the UFC. WME probably wants to shit in Lorenzo's mouth for coming up with such a stupid idea...

Well here is the golden ticket...Josh Barnett. What happened to him is disgusting. It should not have taken so long to clear his name. Many fighters are having their names tarnished because USADA does not understand that its 'innocent until proven guilty' in this great nation. This isnt north korea.

Here is what UFC needs to do.

1. Dana needs to set up a massive press conference with Josh and admit that what happened to him is a disgrace and will be taking care of him financially for the lost time the poor dude had.

2. Trash the golden snitch and usada for such a fail and that these mistake will not be tolerated.

3. Announce that unless USADA has the capabilities to have the results of every test within a month that they can not continue to tarnish the names of their fighters.

4. Announce the termination of USADA when they fail to produce test result in the said time frame. (which they will)

Boom. Bye usada. Hello Jon GOAT Jones and every other A-level athlete yall love so much.

Ditching USADA would be a mistake.

A level?

TS is a golden testament as to why the power of thread creation should only be granted to people with an IQ above 55.

Yeah because in 2018 less drug testing is going to get you good publicity. Only ignorant fucks would think that is a good idea.

USADA is still the best option for the long term. MMA is already extremely taxing on the body, the UFC doesn't want to deal with generations of retired fighters who combine CTE and fucked up endocrine systems.

And when a PED-infested fighter kills his opponent, states deregulate MMA and the govt steps in, what's your plan?

eh, wouldn't have my hopes that high. it would be nice for the ufc but I don't think it's happening that soon. I believe yes at some point we won't have USADA anymore because it's just not a smart decision having them in a sport or any sport in the world

you see how every legit sport (eu football NFL NBA MLB NHL), NONE of them have USADA. I think maybe the english premier league have some strict testing, but the rest of football knows whats up and have lax testing. there's a reason none of them have strict testing, these guys are all on PEDs and they help bring up the sport to a new level. it's stupidity if anything to have strict drug testing

also, you have a business, do you want to purposefully hurt your business having strict drug testing? you WILL have your product perform worse, some of your fighters WILL get sidelined for years, even elite fighters like jones. you are losing on money and viewers. for what?

Butthurt Jon Jones fan detected.

PEDs have health risks, they can even cause death. Do you want that?

you hit your head and wake up. if t here's no USADA it will be regulated by the commissions, by the government. so yeah there's your answer

You’re a dumb fuck on a whole bunch of levels

Boxing has been doing it that way since its birth. I dont see the uproar on its lack of random drug testing.

Getting rid of usada for no reason would hae been a bad look. But not when they have good reason too.

And how does it benefit them? Usada takes years to admit they fucked up. Fighters have to pay out of their own pocket to prove it and sit like a waiting duck.

No fighter should have to spend his own money to prove their innocence

Don't think it's a surprise that all the most successful sports turn a blind eye to PED use.

Fuck, assuring proper recovery from training should be allowed. Better to use PED's and recover properly than get addicted to all the painkillers they're gonna have to take from not having a properly healed body

Fighters in Pride looked a lot healthier than most UFC fighters, PEDs makes weight cutting way easier for the fighters and the most damage fighters take is not from the damage in ring but from these dangerous weight cuts

I know everyone is going to jump down TS's throat and call him a huge moron; I won't disagree ;), but a big reason why PRIDE was so great and successful was that you had a consistent and familiar roster of fighters on every card. But this was accomplished through the wonderful miracle of science.

You're just like those Neanderthals who say " a soccer kick will kill someone" blow it out your ass

It’s not usada’s fault that jones is a drug cheat. Quit crying and realise that your ‘goat’ simply got caught out.

People that don’t want drug testing should go hang out around state fairs in southern america. MMA is now a sport, not just two people wailing on each other for the enjoyment of the just bleeders who haven’t done a days training in their lives but get off on watching others in dangerous situations.

They should make it a rule that if usada doesn't get to work on a suspended fighter for 3 months, the suspension should be lifted.

Yeah, no...sorry but if Mirko, Wand or Shogun couldn't murder someone in the Pride ring, its never going to happen in the frikkin UFC.

Get a grip.
