I know they've offered it for awhile now but it's new to my local theater.

1. How is it? Would you recommend it? If so as a one time thing or something you'd prefer over home/bar if money wasn't an issue.
2. Tickets are $20 here.
3. If you went to it a few years ago and have been more recently has the product improved or remained the same?

Going to go for 311 and just having a hard time picturing the experience.

Use to go with my ex-wife all the time. We liked it, doing 2 tickets was still significantly cheaper than buying the PPV and it got us out of the house. Theaters don't really have security so easy to sneak in food and drinks.

UFC isn't really a visual sport so it being on a movie theater screen wasn't groundbreaking but it's still cool to watch. Way more chill and quite than watching it at a bar.

Theater was never more than like 40% filled so if anything, it just felt like you were watching it in some basement projector setup. I'd say at least half the time we went it wasn't even 20% full

I don't care for it myself, I mean the screen size and audio is great, I just don't love dealing with the other patrons. Been to some that were a non issue, but had really bad experiences with dumbasses once or twice, too.

Not much different than a bar setting in that regard, also not top of my list. Home on my 85" 4K is plenty for me.

They dont show the prelims, only the main card. But it can be fun to watch with other fans on a big screen. Here in Southern California they want like $30 or more for tickets, so by the time you buy 2-3 tickets, you might as well buy the PPV and invite all your friends over.

Missing out on the occasional drunk in the parking lot who's fighter lost and is "Going to show somebody what's up" get wrecked and kiss the concrete just doesn't sound worth it to me...
and there are other ups like Cute wait staff ,crunchy old bar flies making the rounds, to reject utterly. real food, worth a fuck drinks... go and watch a great movie, sure the theater... fight night... Meh...

I watched UFC 271 in the theater and it was great. Better screen than at home but a fraction of the price relative to a PPV. Win/win.
Best part is there weren't that many people in there too. So much better atmosphere than a loud/obnoxious sports bar.

Sounds fun to be honest.
I don't sign up to two subscription services, don't need Disney or ESPN or whatever bs Dana pulls, to buy pay per views. Sounds good to be honest.

ive been wanting to do this for a decade and always forget lol. seems ideal. thats more than youll see going to a fight

A family friend runs a AMC theater. I've gone to a few events over the years. There's never more than 15 people during an event. The theater is in a pretty populated area. You have plenty of seating options opened to you when you pick your seats.
