With Colby as the main event I can just go to bed after the Holloway fight and get a good night's sleep for once.

    Discuss.

I will be on the edge of my seat for that one. Can't wait to see who gets the advantage in certain positions and who can impose their game.

I can't take a Holloway championship fight seriously after what Dustin did to him.

Colby/Usman is interesting because I legit don't know how the fight goes. Historically speaking a fight between 2 wrestlers usually cancels out the grappling and becomes a stand up fight.

I will be excited for Kamaru vs Colby.
There is high possibility that I will bitch about it after it is over.

Fight classes exist for a reason. When you will get it?

I think Colby vs Usman will look similar to Lee vs Gillespie. Usman is just too big for Colby to impose his wrestling on Usman and Usman will just outstrike Colby. Hoping for a savage knockout

Looks like a good night of fights. I think Usman will have the strength advantage but Colby is tenacious, I wouldn't be surprised if he can tire Usman out in the later rounds. I'm also interested in Aldo's 135 debut. I can't believe he's going to BW.

Gone back and forth a million times on this fight, but I think Colby wins it. This fight will come down to boxing, and Colby is the better overall boxer.

Holloway walks around at 185 pounds. Porier is similar. Porier doesn't want to ruin his kidneys fighting at 145. Holloway doesn't want to either because ever since last winter he's said the cut to 145 is getting tough and a permanent move to 155 is inevitable but he's still cutting weight because he's champ and doesn't want to vacate without a back up plan.

If Holloway beat Porier and Khabib you could've bet your future he was gonna vacate the 145 title.

    Get it now?

Think about this? Gaethje WALKS around at between 165-170 pounds and is a serious LW contender. Holloway walks around at 185 pounds and is the FW champ but you want to talk weight classes.

Here's an article when Khabib was suppose to fight Khabib and he said he's over 180 pounds. FW champ walking around, living life, training full time over 180 pounds. Just in case you think I'm BSing.

Could Colby vs Usman become a remake of the catastrophic "fight" Ken Shamrock vs Dan Severen?

You can't take his fights seriously because he lost to a bigger, stronger fighter in the top 3 of the division above his? It was a good fight; it's not like Holloway was obliterated. Diff'rent strokes, I guess, but I find it hard to take your grounds for dismissing him seriously.

You are a major hater. In terms of depth this is the most stacked card of the year

Real, intelligent analysis. I think you're spot on.

Lee's size advantage pretty much mooted any advantages Gregor might have otherwise had. I think the same will be true with Usman and Colby.

Still pretty mind boggling to me that Lee can make weight.

Usman detests Colby so much that he will try to punch him as many times as possible.
    That's how Colby wins.

Yep, it's a battle of 2 boring motherfuckers which means it will probably be the most exciting fight either one has ever been in.

I can't take his fights seriously because you take away his extreme size advantage he's nothing special. Holloway was completely outclassed by Porier in my eyes.

49-45. Not really competitive. Even with his legendary cardio and pace Porier still took the 5th.

In my defense, I said Porier was gonna beat Holloway b4 the fight. I said Porier would outbox him and Porier wouldn't gas. I got flamed for it.

Now it's just funny to see comments like "oh he lost to a top 3 LW? That means he sucks?". Before they fight 85% of people wrote off Dustin saying Holloway was gonna run him over.

Holloway should be fighting at LW right now. The last 2 FW champs (not counting Aldo) have been LWs that go through hell to lose another 10 pounds.

I've already posted in this thread and article where Holloway admits he walks around over 180 pounds. If Colby (who walks around between 175-180) wins the WW strap and Holloway beats Volk we legitimately have a FW champ who's heavier than the WW champ. Think about that for a second.
