Anyone know how the UFC gyms are doing? They seem to be going on of business here in the Dallas area, al least two that I know of, in Richardson and Southlake, TX. One is selling all their UFC branded equip bulk for millions of dollars. What can you do with UFC branded equip? Start a gym and get sued for using the UFC name??

The few I've seen looked like shitty cardio/machine gyms with half the building being for merchandise, which is probably Reebok branded and crappy quality.

So I'd be surprised if they werent failing.

UFC gyms are dying, bro.

They’re for losers who wish they had the balls to actually fight. Run around acting all tough, 8oz gloves and cheap
Mma shirt. But at least they get to front at work or with friends how the train ufc, at the real ufc gym, not some
Phony wannabe knockoff.

Are they like golds gym with testing?

there all over and many are owned bye fighters.

If you know how to UFC, then you don't really need a UFC gym to UFC

lmao good. fuck these guys. it looks like the plano location is closing too. i went into the richardson location a couple summers ago to check out how much membership fees were. it was about 3pm and the place was completely empty except for 1 young skinny teen dude working out on the machines. the dirtbag manager gave me the full membership breakdown when i was just trying to bro talk him. but instead he kept his supreme professional manager facade on and wouldnt just talk to me like a normal person.
-after he pulled out his stupid new member binder with all the fees..something like 129. initiation fee and then 69. a month i was like fuck that. i just want to hit weights and watch some neckbeard tryhards beat each other up. i was a little sour at his attempt to hard sell me this garbage when it was obvious the gym was struggling for members. he didnt offer a free pass for a trial or class. so i had to say to him what i was seeing and be truthful. i told him that whenever i pass by it looks like its never busy and that the cost was a little high.
-this ass of a manager tells me ''well its not 6pm yet and thats when classes start it will be bustling by then''. which was bullshit cause now they are closing.

-in the end its better to get 10 dudes in there at 40 a month than 1 dude at 70. but the shortsightedness of these fuckers at ufc gyms is unbelievable.

Your comment is stupid. There are 2 ufc gyms within 10 miles of me. Both have good coaches, quality equipment, the rates are reasonable, and they have multiple classes throughout the day so I can train whenever I want.

They’re greedy corporate fucks what do you expect

My ufc gym was in our friends basement. Picked up some cheap mma gloves, no headgear and we’d go like 25% on the feet and the grappling was pretty much full go, we let go once we got a submission in except for chokes

I just started to train UFC at the local one here. I'll be UFC champ within two weeks.
