UFC FOX SPORTS just posted this

The truth is, conor is not a fight
ANYONE should take on 2 weeks
notice. Especially dudes who cut
a lot of weight. Sure, the money
is there. But I'd give pettis & diaz
both quite the chance to beat
Conor if they were adequately
prepared. It's an opportunity, but
in the long run, probably not a
very fruitful one..

I'd rather the fight just be rescheduled...

I think money difference between fighting conor and some random opponent is huge. They really should have the second contender in line fighting on the same card to prevent these things from happening.

Good possible match ups ruined by short notices. :(

Cowboy is the least interesting option on the table. Sincerely hope they go elsewhere.
I like Cowboy, used to love watching him and Faber back in WEC (I think that's the name) but in spite of him being a tough dude I think Conor dispatches him comfortably and quickly. I think Nate can beat McGregor, longer reach hard as nails excellent boxer and very good on the ground, this is a tough fight, at least in my opinion.

Cowboy is the right opponent for UFC, it's almost a guarantee win for Conor!
Cowboy is wayy too stiff! And crashes whenever his opponent is throwing big haymakers

Nate Diaz on the other hand, has better boxing and BJJ. Only chance for Conor is to knock Nate Diaz out, but that rarely happens

Fight is too big for Cowboy. He'll have that "I just wanna get to the casino and drink beer" look in his eyes

Hell No! Diaz vs. McGregor or BUST.

A guy who claims he would fight when he just fought 2 days ago is only fighting to collect a paycheck. Put in a guy who has actually been *cough* TRAINING?!?????

I like it. Most logical & likely match up they go with, i'd say.

How is the guy who just fought for the belt and just fought @ 170 a guarantee win lol. Cerrone is a tough SOB and that's just disrespectful to him man. He had a bad night vs RDA but he's looked great

I respect cowboy! Big fans of his since the WED days! But he's known to have weak mental games, sometimes he's just not there! He really could have won any fight! The ones that he lost, it's all due to mental toughness!

UFC has put money in, and someone will be happy to make 500k losing.
