I think this is an extremely dangerous fight for Khabib if Justin can stuff his takedowns. I don’t see how he outstrikes Gaethje. And Justin supposedly can really wrestle so...

Well thats not happening so forget these little dream scenarios Justin has taken down by worse wrestlers than khabib there is no question khabib will get him down.

Didnt learn the lesson after Al, didnt learn after Conor, didnt learn after Dustin. Now still don't want to learn and I could go even further back to Mj and Barboza. The bias for strikers is just ridiculous.

Nobody can say it won’t happen until the fight takes place. How many times has something “crazy” happened now? Remember when Rose would not stand a chance striking with Joanna? How about when Serra would get crushed by GSP? How about when Jon Jones could never take an Olympic wrestler like DC down? How about when Bisping couldn’t do shit to Rockhold? How about Weidman being outclassed striking against Silva? Everything is impossible until someone just goes and does it.
 
Gaethje's defensive wrestling could be a huge factor in him keeping it standing up long enough for him to land shots to end the fight. Wouldn't be surprised at all if that happens.

I think Khabib's gonna surprise everyone with how much he's improved on the feet. Gaethje's gonna find it real tough to land any good shots on Khabib.

I think the plan from Khabib is to make him overextend and grab the takedown.
 
Rooting for Gaethje and think he's a live underdog. The odds favor Khabib by about 60/40 in my mind. I think a lot of the people in that clip are overrating Gaethje's wrestling. I worry about how it will be able to hold up, particularly in the later rounds given Gaethje's self-admitted cardio issues in that wrestling tires him out rapidly. I wonder if he's been training at elevation or been using a "mirror" for Khabib's wrestling style?

Many people have said khabib gets his head off the center line when he shoots. Also, shoots from outside of range. Gaethje said so himself when he was on rogans podcast. The range in which khabib shoots is not what is taught in wrestling.

I don't know what this guy did behind closed doors to get a comedy special when he isn't remotely funny, an analyst job when he is a horrible analyst, a podcast when he is a horrible speaker with no originality whatsoever, etc... but guys... please stop mentioning him. His stupidity is his only asset because it is the only thing prompts people to keep mentioning him.

Khabib better get that takedown and get a finish with it.. plus he lost his dad and cant train properly. I think this is gonna be his first loss. It would be really smart for him to really work with some submission specialists because I think if he cant finish 5 rounds is too long. He needs to get Justin the fuck out of there early


Having said that... Justin has those two head scratching losses against Dustin and Eddie. Both are great fighters but Khabib just hasent ever slipped up like that. Justin did it twice. So I think it's a toss up. Khabib could get fucked up and pull off something crazy late... he has grit and justin used to atleast lack control to coast and get the win once hes got it in the bag.. and throw the fight away

Khabib is not Tony, he won't be eating shots like a punching bag. Also, think how much Tony took and was never even dropped, Khabib will be fine, Tony is know for getting dropped and he ate Justin's shots flush for 4 rounds without making him work for it
 
What a disingenuous video. The only one who definitively said khabib would lose was schaub, everyone else basically just said Justin has a punchers chance. Yet the vid concludes saying 70+% of the fighters/former fighters are picking Justin. THAT is number 1 bullshit.

Did he seriously say that Conor would beat Floyd? I knew he said it would be competitive then claimed he was right because Conor won a round.
