IM TALKING ABOUT THIS FIGHT not what happened last month, LAST Year or 25 years ago... fk me man. Im not toxic to people who know me but sht like this hella triggers me. then there is another guy trying to put his ass on MMA fight like im given up....

Kinda shocked people are on Allen this fight. I'm fairly confident Heinisch is going to be a massive problem for Allen in the sense of his striking improvements but also he's not going to just lie on his back and be willing to accept whatever Allen gives him. Wouldn't be surprised to see Allen just be outclassed physically either. Allen was seriously hurt by Holland before Holland gave up on the ground. Allen got hurt and his striking devolved into something beyond sloppy.

If you think he'll survive after getting hit by Heinisch several times best of luck to you.

On another note, I'm currently feeling like there's a chance Melo gets her first UFC win this weekend. Need to do a little more tape but Moras is so bad on the feet. Melo looks like she's gotten rid of that mommy fat around her stomach - her hips are just huge - but otherwise she looks in decent shape coming in this spot. Gonna make a call later...

What striking improvements do you speak of?

What striking improvements do you speak of?

After his loss to Akhmedov it was mentioned not only by Heinisch but also by commentators during the Meerschaert fight he and his wife moved to Thailand for him to further focus his mma career. Those improvements IMO resulted in Meerschaert's canvas nap. Did you not notice the improvements in his striking/footwork from Akhmedov to Meerschaert?

No I didn’t. The fight was over in 1 minute and 14 seconds

what in particular about his footwork improved

The small cage is not in Heinisch his favour. This fight is destined to end up on the ground and Allen is just better there imo.
One does not simply take Ian to the mat, his TD defense is ridiculous even when gassed. Big if in my opinion...

Looks like Cannonier and TKZ all over again. Stay where y'all are. I have no problems taking Heinisch to the bank
Allen is overrated, he lost against bum fluffy hernandez
he got a lucky sub because of Holands brick fight IQ
Beat a unstable emotionaly Breese
Won against short notice Daukus

What's gonna be you're excuses if Ian does lose. You'll obviously have one

Love heinisch but this is false. Just not true. The difference is heinisch has fought mostly grapplers/takedown artists who IMO are far more skilled in seeking the finish via sub. They're also more physical IMO than Allen. Heinisch beat those guys. Allen will lose this fight on the feet.

He gets taken down but he gets up. Holland doesnt, and neither has most of the people Allen has beaten in the UFC up to this point.

Heinisch has never won a fight by keeping it standing and defending the takedown (against decent competition). He wins fights by being a good scrambler and he managed to outcardio a few submission specialists. Unfortunately for Heinisch I don't think Allen will gas out before Heinisch does.

While you are right about his statistical TD, as pointed out earlier he doesn’t stay there for long and scrambles well. Sorry for the exaggeration but I will say this. Allen will have a very hard time sticking Ian to the mat even when Ian is gassed
