I bet the UFC was hoping SIlva won so that they could have a GSP superfight for UFC200.
That's not to say that it still won't happen, but I just hope that Silva doesn't retire after such a debatable decision like this.
I don't think the loss set AS back at all, as I think he won (so does the UFC) and I don't really believe he has what it takes to go for the title anymore, so they can easily set all superfights they want. Actually, if anything, this showed GSP could easily go for a superfight now and they both get their biggest payday at UFC 200.
So does Dana White (a known fanboy)*
If Anderson Silva won in the fight we watched, it was under unfortunate circumstances to be honest. Really it'd be better to just rewind time and superglue Mike's mouthpiece into his head. I feel like Herb gave the impression he was about to move in to call time, but why Michael even tried to call time is just plain retarded.
We need to roll back time without the mouthpiece falling out and then we get to see:
1) Non-diminished Bisping, who likely wouldn't have taken that knee.
2) Anderson Silva putting in 100% in the later rounds.
As it stands, we don't really know what would have happened at the end of round 3 and in rounds 4 and 5.
Hope we get to see more of Heel Moose.
Bisping will looked jacked up when the bruising starts later, but right now with the blood wiped off, he looks surprisingly good.
