With just over a month until fight night, "Suga" will bow out of the FOX Sports 1 event and await further orders. In the meantime, the previously-announced heavyweight showdown pitting Antonio Silva against Frank Mir, originally booked for UFC 184 on Feb. 22 in Los Angeles, Calif., will take over as event headliner.

While it's no picnic for Teixeira, who needs six weeks to rehab a bum knee, it has to be super-frustrating for Evans, who hasn't competed since late 2013 after battling knee problems of his own. No word yet if he'll remain attached to the Brazilian, or if the promotion will seek a new opponent.

Rashad Evans is the unluckiest guy in the world when it comes to injuries on himself and his opponents.

So they can't find a replacement in a month and half?

At least they gave them a good main event.

They should be able to get a replacement for Rashad in that time though.

Cormier vs. Rashad would be nice but I doubt it will happen since DC probably still has knee issues.

Probably not anyone worth headlining a Fox card. Top 4 guys are out of the disgussion. So LHW is pretty slim pickings in terms of star power to headline a big card like that.

I don't think this will be a good main event at all. Mir will almost certainly get crushed yet again and look like shit.

Could be good if Mir makes it competitive, but I don't see it happening. And without a quick finish HWs will likely gas hard.
