Okay so maybe it's just the proud 30 something in me that likes to root for the fellow Generaton Xers. The wily scrappy Vets pulling off big wins. But seriously, look at how many 30 some year olds put epic beat downs or displays of domination on their 20 something opponents on this card. Maybe I'm getting old but I remember a time in the earlier UFCs where unless your name was Randy Couture, you had no business climbing in the cage with someone in their 20s. Unless there's been a massive exodus of product movement in the underground TRT market, I'd say this is testament to how far the quality of elite training has come when coupled with mental maturity. Soa, Brown, Johnny Eduardo, Costas and Salas all pulled off awesome finishes over their younger opponents. I can't forget Cariaso's dominant performance against hot prospect Smolka as well.

That's because those 20-somethings were Gen X'ers back then.

    We're the best.

Does anybody else find it weird as hell that Fedor and Wanderlei are Gen X'ers?

Is normal. I am late 30's and beat down tons of the 20 something kids in training all the time. YEah, their stamina might be a tad better but to say no business in their with them, bs. We aint THAT old yet.
