The UFC, on thier website, has UFC Night Night 33 Hunt vs Bigfoot at 9PM/6PM ETPT.

That cannot be right as it is in Brisbane, AUS.

How far ahead or behind is Brisbane, AUS from US Pacific Time?

I understand that is when it will be aired on FS1, but is that live. The prelims would have to start at 10AM Australia Time. That is earlier than US Football games start.

^yup its live, prelims will start in the AM just like they do on the Japanese cards.

It is live. It's done this way to ensure the UFC gets a primetime slot in the states while the locals in Australia get a Saturday card.

OK, I think I understand now.

Japan and Australia fights cards, the prelims start in the AM so that they hit the primetime slot in the US. But the European cards don't, they get the primetime slot in the UK and its early afternoon in the US.

The last ufc show in aus was live there during the day. That's how they do it.

Someone said it wasn't fair because aussies wouldn't want to drink or get together during the day, and I laughed and laughed and laughed!
