Woodley is 38. You only see HWs at that age performing at an elite level, not the lower weight classes. He has other interests outside of fighting. I think his foot is halfway out the door to retirement, and those guys usually don’t show up.

Burns is hungry and motivated. He’s actually bigger than Woodley (look at the face-off). Woodley never attempts takedowns, he just uses his wrestling to defend TDs. That, and the fact that Burns is world class on the ground so Woodley has further incentive to keep it from going there, means Burns is free to swing big. The Octagon is smaller too. Woodley won’t be able to run and backpedal as effectively as he normally does. Burns has power, and I think he catches Woodley with a big right within the first couple rounds.

Yeah, I think you make some great points here. I too question whether Woodley has the hunger anymore. Few guys do at his age after being on top.
 
I am worried as 11 of my 13 bets are on the + side of the line so glad to see others with similar betting sheets.
