Beats Gomi, Cerrone and Miller in a row when that really meant something in lopsided fights. TKO's Gray Maynard and beats the ever loving shit out Michael Johnson immediately after he slept Poirer.

Beats up and taps out Conor at the absolute height of his powers, just after KO'ing Aldo and does it on zero notice.

Only a moron would say Nate has "sucked for the last 10 years." It is demonstrably untrue. He's an extreme over-achiever for his limited athletic gifts.

The reason he has an enormous fan base is he's NEVER been a point fighter and has always fought to finish. It is frankly common sense this is why people have always enjoyed watching Nate.

I agreed with everything except I think you completely undermined the triathlete part. It isn’t important if they’re the fastest triathlete ever, cardio is a weapon and the triathlons certainly bolster that for them compared to guys who just focus on MMA or work cardio less seriously than that. An MMA fight is a marathon and they are well prepared for every second even while taking damage.

Many who do not follow those sports are unaware Nick and Nate have completely unimpressive triathlete times. They are routinely out paced by day job enthusiasts. They are not gifted athletes with regards to cardio - they are hard workers.

He is 7-8 for the last 10 years, has overall a tampon record and fights like a drunk bum every other fight.

Reading his CV aloud won't change anything to that. In fact he should be cut. The only thing he has had going for him for a while is durability but he has no offense, i e. has no chance of winning most of his fights.

It wasn't a close fight at all. Leon destroyed Nate and outside of 2 strikes, it was a complete clowning by Leon on Nate. But to be fair, Nate was closer to finishing Leon than Leon got to finishing Nate.
