I have never seen an event start in the afternoon like this, unless i am forgetting something(not counting events in other countries)

I don't mind it though I like the idea of starting events at 1pm EST

UFC is bigger than soccer.

I like the daytime cards. Mixing them up makes things interesting in my opinion. Plus you can watch the UFC very early and then tune into Premier Boxing Champion at 3 PM EST.

Everybody wins.

Does it really matter?

Like most UFC cards, no it doesn't. I actually like early cards, but this one is irrelevant. Only way I would possibly watch it is if I was in a coma, and this stream was the the only perception allowed me. I would still be pissed though.

The larger point though. Just another UFC that nobody cares about. That is very common now.

freaking hate when they do this shit, some of us work

Of course they are, but can you blame them? They'd be stupid to try and compete with the Final Four. I know I would watch that over a fight night card any day of the week.

Under normal circumstances I would love this. It turns out my son's birthday party is this afternoon, so I'll have to DVR the fights and watch later, but, generally speaking, I'm all for Saturday afternoon cards.

I would take this time for every card! I hate sitting in a bar for 6 hours to see a main event at midnight

It's a smart move.
