No, they should have let Okami sit at #6 for the week and removed him on the next voting ballot.

Censoring all 70 media votes after-the-fact is nothing more than cover-your-ass maneuvering.

Why? He's no longer in the UFC, so there's no reason he should be in their rankings. Anyone who follows the UFC knows he got released, and also knows he's a ranked MW. They're the internal rankings for the UFC, if you want to see MMA rankings, look elsewhere. Shockingly, he's still there, because... they aren't limited to just the UFC.

I think some of you guys should read the top of the page on their site "UFC Fighter Rankings" key part, UFC.

The complaint about censorship is kind of ridiculous since they are not censoring peoples views on overall MMA rankings, they are just removing a fighter from a list he no longer belongs on, not a UFC fighter, not on the list, simple.

Don't realize that the UFC only ranks UFC fighters. Not putting Okami on a ballet is the same as putting him on a ballot and voting him in and then removing him. There is zero difference. They are not going to provide free marketing on the UFC website for a fighter not under Zuffa contract.
