Wand had a Q&A session scheduled for tomorrow (30), but will be replaced by Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, in wake of the controversy surrounding The Axe Murderer's withdrawal from UFC 175.

SAO PAULO -- Wanderlei Silva would have been one of the guest fighters at The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3 Finale fight week in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but the UFC decided to cancel his appearance.

"The Axe Murderer" was expected to host a Q&A session before the official weigh-ins on Friday afternoon at the Ibirapuera gymnasium alongside with UFC reporter Paula Sack, but UFC officials told MMAFighting.com on Thursday that he will be replaced by former champion Mauricio Rua.

Wish Sonnen would do it!

Talk about another Epic Q&A from the Champ.

Nice. Shogun has wit in answering questions, short but deep.

that sucks, would have been great to see if Wandy showed up or not and what he would have said.

I wonder if UFC might cut him for this.

Hey Shogun, how does it feel to be the only guy Dan Henderson has beat since 2011?

thanks for posting. it was a good read. wand has only himself to blame for any misfortune that he suffers because of yesterday's announcement.

Well it sucks because he's clearly better but got caught with one hail mary punch that landed on the right spot

Shogun seems like a nice guy giving guys career relevance. I would be pissed

Let's hope this is a sign of him eventually getting cut/released from the UFC.

My respect for him went down far enough with the scrap on TUF, but after yesturday? I hope he never fights again.
