Finally, some good news for the UFC.

Rough start for WME... but it can only get better with the return of certain fighters.

fox isnt advertising the events except during other ufc programming. I dont blame them seeing as UFC is leaving at the end of the year.

The fox deal never really brought in the kind of numbers that were expected is my understanding. I guess they always got off to a bad start when their first ever main event ended with a first round knockout.

2.3 is actually a decent number

I think thats close to what WWE Raw gets

Am reading thIs wrong? Looks like good ratings after yesterday made them sound bad

The first 3 posts seem to not understand what 2.3 means. It's a good number guys. Especvially for a non title fight. Way better than previously reported.

throw some meaningful title fight there if you want casuals to watch it

Oh stfu about the ratings.

EVERYTHING is down except Game of Thrones and NBA.

They're all still making a killing including the NFL and WME. The only question is will they be $50 million richer or just a measley $25 million?

WME needs to stop trying to make stars out of everybody. Just make great matchups, let the fighters fight, and basically just do what the Fertittas were doing before the buyout. WME obviously bought it because the UFC was doing something right. Just keep doing what they had going on. Not sure why they're trying to change things up so much.

I remember they were trying to push Cynthia Calvillo hard. All 4 of her UFC fights have been on the main card. Not sure why. I just don't understand how they select certain fighters to push.

Woah guys. This is actually a positive thread. Calm down.

It's pretty obvious, to me anyways, there's fat too many fighters on the roster.

The Fertittas were okay with there being a B-league to pool fighters from aka Bellator. WME seems intent on creating a monopoly on MMA, and they're picking up as much talent as possible in the process. It seems to me WME is trying to make UFC like the other major league sports. Admirable in a sense but the execution is questionable because there are too many fighters on the roster and not enough good cards. All these fighters need fights, even the lowest tier ones, and we have to watch them.

Save it for a bad ratings thread, which this clearly isn't.

Why are you so defensive? I'm not sure what you expect. They did ok numbers. Duly noted.

Not sure why you're so attached to the idea of the UFC doing well.
