Gane's TD is such trash that Blaydes can shoot a lazy TD and get him down easily. Hell, no knees Gannou wrestle-fucker Gane for a win. Gane is so overhyped just like Gustaffson. It is odd how some fighters can be mediocre but they are adored by the fans.
Gane and Buckley must train TDD together. Or train together and skip the TDD part.

Aloe Vera never moves his head at all.
Seems really bad vs a guy who really sets up those headshoots like Illia
Then again... how often have we seen Illia move backwards? Been pressured?

Max did hurt Ilia at the end of R2 with that body kick. Even made him do the Matador movement. No one picked up on it. Max was touching him. Just speed and power kills. I think it's what will carry Ilia over Charles.

If we scored the fight as a whole, Kuniev would've won, but round by round, Blaydes did

Mark Kerr inducted by The Rock yup TKO out in full force. Most pro wrestling fans want nothing to do with MMA and vice versa yes I also know The Rock is playing Mark Kerr but still

I just think Ilia is too fast and will look to get in the pocket early, take advantage of his hand speed and eliminate the size difference. Olives really should sell out to grapple and neutralize what Toppy wants to do, and touch up that lead leg. Ilia did get touched by both Max and Volk before getting inside and landing big. I just don't think it'll happen.
I have my doubts as well unfortunately. Charles does get pieced up and doesn't avoid the pocket since he can usually throw up a thai clinch and then toss some knees but versus Ilia...maaaaan. Too risky.

Yakkin on the river all day. Looks like a decision fest afternoon. In for violence

Jones is 0-1 against Hamill.

Let it go, nothing will change the fact that Jones is a duck.

Jones/Hamill was 16 years ago before Tom could even drive.

Tom/Blaydes went 1-1 against each other in the last 3 years.

This guy looks like a skilled killer and has a fuzzy hat, so I assume he's pretty fucking good. I don't think I've ever seen him fight before.

I only watched the third, it looked like Curtis won to me, but I don't know how the first two rounds went, looked like Blaydes was wearing more damage though.

How can you score the 3rd for Kuniev when he got outstruck by a decent margin
Yes Blaydes looked like shit, but so did kuniev
It’s HW in a nutshell of flab

Kuniev should of pushed the pace in the 3rd if he wanted the W

Yeah guy is almost 35, and has 2 stoppage by strikes losses to Ngannou, 1 to Lewis, 1 to Aspinall, and 1 to pavlovich. All the biggest hitters of the last 10 years basically. So he's wearing some definite miles.
For the longest time I remember thinking he's so young and strong he'll be champion one day. Now he's old and doesn't look nearly as strong he's looking like Arlovski but can use experience to hang on for some wins.

I have my doubts as well unfortunately. Charles does get pieced up and doesn't avoid the pocket since he can usually throw up a thai clinch and then toss some knees but versus Ilia...maaaaan. Too risky.

Charles has a path to victory in my opinion, but at 35, with many fights in the bank, against a guy as young, fast and powerful as Ilia, I don't see it. I've been wrong a ton of times in MMA. Charles winning wouldn't shock me, but I would genuinely be surprised.

Limb length and height being Fiziev's main opponent at lightweight as usual. Skill for skill he's superior than most but........

I still picked him though

Believe......🙏
