Don't think either one of the McGregor Diaz fights, Liddell Silva fight, or Jones Gustafsson fight should be anywhere close to top10.

In fact, If you would ask me the high magnitude fights in UFC that disappointed the most, I would definitely name McG Diaz 2 and Wanderlei Liddell

Ehh it's the UFC so it's gonna be somewhat biased and showcase some over others.
I can't argue with Conor/Nate 2 though.
One of the most exciting nail biters that had all fans screaming at the tv at some point. It was a 5rd bloody war between 2 tough mofos. Had a great back story and lots of drama leading up.

JJ/Gus was the same thing.

Really those 2 fights definitely belong in the top 5.

Other than the McG knockdowns (Which were obvious that it won't knock Diaz out after the first knockdown), when exactly were you screaming at the tv during McGregor vs. Diaz 2? They were completely gassed after round 2, so no fight ending strikes were thrown in the majority of the fight, just 2 men circling around each other. What am I missing here?

Hendo vs Shogun and KZ vs Dustin are my two picks.

Cmon after that 3rd round it looked like Conor was done for and we all thought he was gonna go down again but he came back in the 4th and finished out the fight for the win.

I mean yeah the comeback after RD3 was impressive, but he kinda came back by circling around Diaz for 5 minutes and throwing a couple of strikes..

Idk I watched it again and he fought that 4th round solid I thought now the 5th I’ll give ya...he was just tryin to run out the clock

Hendo shogun is my top no doubt both guys gave it their all.

Could be the worst best fight list I have ever seen. Too awful to comment further.

Well I yelled when Conor threw the only spinning kick of the fight and when he threw a jumping knee.
The yelling was due to me knowing that the tide could turn at any moment the way the fight was going. Nobody could be sure who was going to win at any point.
Many beautiful combos were thrown through the 4th rd. To deny that is just being a Conor hater. His striking was on point that night. Great timing and distance control. He was throwing sweet combos the whole night man, c'mon.
Diaz made it extremely suspenseful due To his zombie like chin and cardio. Dude took so many shots that would have TKOd most other 155ers. That's just a fact.
Bloody back and forth suspenseful war.
And let's not pretend that Nate fans/Conor haters weren't screaming at Nate the whole time.
It also had the drama of the first fight and both of their antics leading up to the fight.

How do people not agree with Gus vs JBJ being on the list? Thats the best lhw title fight in ufc history i think

I see what you mean, but for me if neither of the fighters get seriously hurt at least once in a 5 round fight, thats an instant elimination from top5 FOTY for me. Same reason why I thought Jones vs. Gustafsson wasn't all that good

I probably have not cared for any other fight more watching live than I did for that one.

I cant understand why someone has to get hurt "badly" lol. Just bleed guy is that you?

Best, or biggest? Was it the hype leading to fight that makes you think it was the "best", or the fight itself?

Fight itself wasn't that exciting in my opinion. The only thing that made it exciting is that Jones wasn't able to steamroll his opponent for the first time in a long while, which is maybe why a lot of people thought this was a great fight.

How is Joanna vs Gadelha on the list but no Diego Sanchez fight?? Sanchez vs Guida/Melendez were some of the best fights I've ever seen

Y'all sleeping on Hominick/Filipino Phenom. That was the REAL GOAT fight.

I mean... I thought that was common sense? Of course I enjoy more when someone gets hurt.

Does anyone prefer a sparring session over a bloody fight with wobbly legs?

I thought Sancehz vs Guida lost it's steam after crazy first round. Sanzes vs Melendez was a crazy brawl but really nothing more.

mcgregor nate 2 far from top 7, but hey, they gotta hype their little boy
