ACB are hoping to re-sign Loughnane on the back of his devastating third-round knockout of previously undefeated Paata Tsxapelia at ACB 75. He finished the fight in dramatic fashion after suffering a broken arm in the second round.
“The contract runs out at the end of February, so I’ve got about three weeks left on it now. I’m not going to be back in until May now with my arm healing up. ACB has come in with another good offer and there are some other big promotions that have put good offers on the table too.”
Loughnane revealed that the UFC is one of the five suitors that are trying to sign him at the moment.
“UFC is one of the options, but as I said earlier, there are four other offers on the table as well. I’m really happy with them all, and I’m going to have to sit down and think about what’s best for my career. Right now, it’s all about getting healthy and making the decision,” he said.
“As I said earlier, there is one option here that is without a doubt the biggest thing I’ve ever done in my career. I can’t talk about whether that’s the UFC deal or not, but everyone will know my name by the end of this year if what I’m planning comes off.”
