Ok so far I've seen Maynard vs Miller and Hamil vs Munoz.

Maynard vs Miller
I'm impressed with Maynard. He used his right hand really well, parrying Miller's jab, mixing up punches and even including body shots. I think he should've thrown more combinations; he could've hurt Miller and maybe even finished him off. IMO, the biggest difference in this fight was Maynard looking to throw back when Miller attacked. He shot rights between Miller's punches and looked to throw back right after Miller was done. Miller just backed up in a straight line with his guard up and threw the same old 1-2, leg kick.

Hamill vs Munoz.
Lol at Munoz's striking. I can't believe they got this guy to fight Hamill. I was calling for a head kick when two seconds later Hamil knocks out Munoz with one. I'm surprised he didn't throw one sooner considering how low Munoz's hands were. The guy's defense against punching was to look away. Shows you that you need more than great wrestling to compete in higher levels of MMA.

Next up, Brown vs Sell

Damn. I was looking foward to this fight because both Sell and Brown are skilled technical fighters. I'm a fan of Matt Brown as well and this fight made me like him even more. He really grew as a fighter since he was on TUF. IMO, his problem when he was on that show was that he only used punches, didn't throw enough combinations and started too slow.

Now he's a different striker. The guy started aggressive, starting the fight with a head kick. Threw a mix of punches, elbows and knees in the clinch. Didn't know why the ref made the calls he made.

Maynard looked sharp. Tight boxing. Maynard showed he could evade a punch and launch his own. Just outclassed Miller.

Munoz was caught thinking I believe. He is learning striking but I think he was caught trying to set something up. He had a command from his corner to throw an uppercut. He stopped moving from Hammil turned and was kicked as he waited for one of Hammil's long slow jabs.

Pete sell came out like it was a sparring session. Slow starter maybe. Took a few hits and never made an adjustment.

good to see vera show some of that muay thai. matt hammill vs munoz was sloppy as hell. maynard looked awesome with that crisp boxing.

Hammil and Munoz both have sloppy , horrible striking , but I give Hammil credit by at least showing he is trying to improve it. I bet Munoz never suspected a kick would end his night, much less a head kick.

Carwin showed great composure under fire and you can see his confidence in his chin to stand and trade with Gonzaga and it sure payed off when he landed his own power right hand.

Matt Brown striking looked a lot cleaner and way more precise .
I feel bad for Pete Sell, he always shows up to fight but doesn't have the chin to bang toe to toe with the guys in the UFC.

Also it goes to show how styles make fights by the way that Jardine was able to go the full 3 rounds and gave Rampage problems with his very akward striking style.

Dream 7 is on now if anyone is awake , if you search the net there is some live streams , fights are about to start, adios.

Carwin has some incredible power. I thought he was done for and Gonzaga got him on the ground. Shit, I just realized there was hardly any grappling in this event.

ahhahah you see the way carwin knocked gonzaga out? that was the first time ive seen a arm punch knock someone out... .he was squared up, put no hip into that punch for shit.... and still knocked him out!!! talk about raw power.

and matt brown is fucking wicked!!! jardine unorthodox as usual. rampage still having problems with fighters that hit and move (he will for sure have problems with evans and machida). vera looked like his old self and maynard is still boring as shit.... even when he stands up.

most the the wrestlers will never have great strkiing. they don't need to as you've seen.

Hammil is horrible to watch. He always gasses in his fights. He is like a lumbering gorilla. His punches are slow and sloppy.

kendal grove anyone??

not the cleanest technique but he put him right in his range... landed right at the end of his punch. that would of knocked out anyone in the middleweight division. if you lanky guys wanna see how to use every inch of your arms... look at that punch... picture perfect the way he landed it.

What do you guys think of Matt Hammils trademark left toe kick to the shin, followed by a left punch? He does that in all his fights. Looks kind of sloppy

munoz is terrible offensively and defensively; all his standup is predicated on him being able to completely dominate the wrestling, if his wrestling is nullified or slowed then the holes in his game become pronounced.

Hammil tech is sloppy; but he hits hard, has a big heart (meaning he is willing to fire back or punch w/an opp) and quite simply he hits HARD.

alot of guys just can't handle that, they expect a guy to step back or hesitate and hammil doesn't; he has taken huge shots from rich, boetsch, bisping and continues to press and continues to let his strikes go.

the will to strike is almost as important as the skills; as alot of people have the skills, but lack the toughness heart to do what is necessary

maynard is basic; but at least he is dedicated to applying them, he was willing to press and to do so intelligently. Not going in wild or overaggressive; he came in w/a tight guard, worked his way in and once in range eff put his strikes to use.

vera is an athletic dynamo and trains w/one of the best strikers period; an that guy says vera is the good, put those things together you have quite a force.

the prob is vera likes to potshot and pick people apat; if and when u can take it and press him, he tends to get a little hesistant w/his strikes and can be outworked.

as he was against jardine..and against sylvia who just smothered him w/that clinch and roughed him up.
