What do you think that fight would have looked like? If Chuck would have beat Rashad this fight could have happened.

Its a fight i woulda loved to see personally.

I think 08 Forrest would have gave 08 Chuck a good fight. I think we would get 2 exciting rounds of striking exchanges. With Chuck probably catching and finishing Forrest in the 3rd. It would have been exciting as hell imo.

What do you think it would have looked like? Would it have been an interesting fight to you?

P.S Chuck>Forrest obviously. He was a killer and GOAT contender at 205 so save the stupid comments. Asking peoples honest thoughts on this fight.

forrest could have leg kicked the fuck out of chuck and win a 3 rounder ud.. chuck could land but i see forrest out pointing chuck at that point..

05 chuck is a different fight imo.

True. Chuck at his peak woulda stomped Forrest imo. But at that point in time Forrest definitely would have gave Chuck fits.

Forrest winning a UD or SD via his kicks isn't absurd at all to think.

Forrest has never had power in his hands. He has heavy low kicks and decent fundamental kickboxing. His takedowns are also not good, and Chuck was one of the best at neutralizing takedowns one way or another. His BJJ was decent from top, his GnP soft.

I don't see Forrest knocking out Chuck, and Forrest's chin would be on test in that one, since Chuck never came in overweight like Rampage or injured like Shogun. Chuck had 1 major injury that had him pulled out of a fight; his ACL in early 08. He doesn't gas as quickly as those, and he can take low kicks better than Rampage because of his pro-kickboxing experience (a nice 20-2 record).

Chuck by KO to win the belt back. Damn you, Shad, would've been epicness.

I agree.

But we seen Rashad land a heavy punch on Griffin in the second round of their fight and Forrest just took it. He also was arguably outstriking Rashad. With all that i think Forrest woulda hung tough a few rounds for sure. Chuck woulda probably got the finish inside 20 minutes tho.

Forrest went 5 rounds and beat the guy that KOd Chuck to take his belt. I think Forrest would have made it a fight. Easily.

Styles make matchups, don't use mmath.

Rampage was just standing there trying to land knockout shots.

Chuck knows better than Rampage to check a leg kick.

Chuck, even at that stage of his career, would be an awful matchup for Forrest. Griffin has never had a great chin, and over the course of 3 rounds Chuck would certainly hurt him. How many times have we seen power punchers hurt and then finish Forrest off? One trait most will agree on when it comes to Chuck is that he was great at recognizing when his opponent was in danger and then finishing them off. Bad fight for Forrest.

Yes the kicks wouldnt have been AS effective. But Chuck does the same thing just looks to land that KO shot. Forrest would have hung in there for a few rounds. Probably landing softer but more shots while eating some big ones. I do think Chuck would eventually finish him tho.

Forrest would have won that fight. He was on a roll, and judging from how well he did against Rashad that night, I'm going to go with him by UD.
