Royce would have been carded if this was Pride, i dont think ive ever seen a bigger survival fight than this one, he didnt at any point even try and win.

Got a photo with him and his signature on my Orange belt at a local Go Ju Ryu tourney back in 1988. Years later when he showed up as a commentator on the early UFC events I was shocked but stoked to say the least!
