We're already starting to see sporting events get cancelled. Could UFC 311 be next?

I don't think the venue's near enough to the Pacific Palisades fires to be in danger. It's close to SoFi stadium where the Rams will be playing in the NFL playoffs, and they're not planning to cancel (although they're monitoring the situation, natch.)

Wouldn't be surprised if it's rescheduled or moved.

It's at the Intuit Dome, where the Clippers play. I haven't seen that they've postponed games yet (also haven't looked at their schedule) but I know the Lakers have.

IIRC those two arenas are just blocks away from one another.

Yes Merab went into the office, Asked for this fight before ramadan so his opponent couldn't delay and all so he could hope it'd be cancelled. makes sense.

It was a recent move, maybe even just started this season.

Staple Centre isn't even the Staples Centre anymore though, it's "Crypto.com Arena" now. Terrible name imo.
