UFC 307: Pereira vs. Rountree

The way I see it is that she lost to the weaker version of Marina in Jazmine. This a step up in rankings and skill, she should not be a favorite.

no

I think the Darren Stewart fight is a good reference to watch. He went to split dec in that fight, Kevin's offense gets stifled when he faces someone that can mix wrestling with striking,. I would prefer Roman fights smarter than going hard early, Kevin's chin is solid. only has 1 ko and it was a 4th round retirement. I think durability is his strong suit. Roman by dec will get you good value.
I agree. The striking match is 50-50, but the grappling one is pretty bad news for Kevin. Roman might not have good wrestling, but he is possibly the biggest MW in the ufc and very physical, while Kevin is possibly the smallest MW and very frail and un-physical. Roman should ragdoll him.

Jauregui has 100% TDD though (6 attempts from Hughes who's not a terrible wrestler), Marina's is only 65%.

Im wondering whether or not should I play Carla at dog odds vs Tecia. She already beat her albeit ten years ago and stylistically has the wrestling to bother Tecia not to mention is a bit of a judges pet while the judges tend to hate Tecia like shes their nemesis or something.
But then theres the factor of Carlas layoff and that Tecia probably at her best is the better more well rounded fight of these two... Even in their primes.
hmmmm.

She beat Dern and didn’t get subbed by her. I just need her to not get tapped. She’s good enough to get back up. Lucindo is holding down girls who are at the lower end in the rankings. Viana is known to be a guard puller and she only got 1:58 seconds of ctrl time in rnd 1. Im gonna have to count on Marina winning a lot on the feet to sway the judges to her favor.

I don’t classify Lucindo as a grappler, she’s a mma generalist.

It's tempting but I think Carla said this was her retirement fight, some go out with a bang some with a whimper.

Court McGee at +200 is calling to me. Both washed up guys but I could see Court grinding out a decision.

What a shitshow of a fight. Two washed up veterans who both happen to be former drug addicts. I think Means is priced accordingly considering he’s the one who can actually do damage. Means is kind of a sub magnet but McGee hasn’t subbed anyone in years.

Court McGee +195 they will set a high pace from the distance... Means can't follow that pace.

Breaking!!: TKO Group Holdings has agreed to a succession plan involving Alex Pereira and Khalil Rountree pursuant to Rountree succeeding Pereira as the incumbent UFC Light Heavyweight champion. Pereira has agreed to terms, successfully completed his medical and signed all official documentation, resulting in the organized surrender of the title during the broadcast of UFC 307. Pereira will fight for the UFC Heavyweight title immediately after the exchange and will also be remunerated with €6 million and recieve 2 investment properties.

Sounds like a guarantee.
I'll see if the wife will let me take out a second mortgage for this big bet!
Thanks for the heads up!

U2.5 for Kayla/Ketlen in the plus money, thoughts? Obviously Ketlen has no finishing upside here, but given that I once saw her get mounted pretty easily by McMann early on I think Kayla could do the same but actually score a stoppage.

I think striking isn't 50-50 unless td threat paralyzes Holland, but he rather doesn't shy away from throwing even if he gets wrestlefucked

The two times he got outwrestled, against Derek and Marvin, he only managed to get off 74 and 103 significant strikes respectively, and of those he landed less than half. The clinch and TD threat greatly diminishes his output, so as long as Roman mixes that I think he'll outwork him.

he got dropped in his last fight by michel. He also lost the striking against JDM. And he was not that great against the argentinan guy. Doldize had a competitive fight with vetorri. Rocked him. And he beat smith on the feet at LHW.

It was a competitive fight against JDM and JDM is a great striker. Holland and is better striker than Vettori and Smith. People are acting like Oleksiejczuk knockdown was huge, but it wasn't. Dolidze has size and power on his side, but overall striking is Holland. Dolidze has hell od a ground game though. His jest way is to grapple
