UFC 285 is headlined and co-headlined by fights between who have a huge chance of producing low output, slow paced kickboxing fights.

Depending on if Jones can even wrestle anyone these days, let alone someone bigger than he’s ever tried to wrestle, he may end up fighting like he did in the Reyes and Santos fights.
Equally, Gane has a tendency to coast on a lead, especially if he can win the distance striking exchanges consistently.

Similarly, Valentina is similar to Gane, where she’ll stand at range and has a habit of coasting on a lead.
Alexa Grasso doesn’t pose too much danger, as she’s not a KO artist and likes to stand at range as well.

We could be in for a long night my friends, and by long I mean combined 10 rounds, 50 minutes of slow paced, tepid kickboxing.

I truly believe that Jones vs Gane won’t be a snoozefest. Valentina is a different case, she’s a guaranteed borefest.

Good chance both go to decision but i wouldn't mind seeing Jones taken out on a stretcher.

How is Valentina a guaranteed borefest? Woman beats the brakes of her opponents even when they try to murder the tempo of the fight. Not to mention the technique. So many beatdown wins, some of those have been very brutal.Out of the last 5, 3 have been brutal finishes. Every time fight slowed down it was her opponent trying to win without doing anything.
