News UFC 284 bout order

I do think it's missing that special 'third bout' without Whittaker vs Costa, but that's really a small complaint. To see this megafight between two champs is something sherdog won't praise UFC enough for. Something something Dana white slapped someone omgz!!11!
 
This cards pretty bad. For 80 dollars I don't want 2/5ths of the main card to he fight night level filler with no real top 15 implications or major promise. Tafa is 5-3 vs a 13-7 opponent, HW division pains me badly. Crute vs Menifield, neither are ranked in the top 20 according to Tapology...I had hope for Crute but it's ran out, Menifield is 35 and just sorta " a guy " on the roster.

I like the Mullarkey vs Prado fight on the Prelims but even the Prelims are pretty bad, at least 283 is chalked full of promising talent and prospects on the Prelims.

This card has some good prospects. Jack Jenkins is a badass, Junior Tafa looks really good, I still have hope for Kleydson despite his disappointing debut.

Should be fine imo.

Jack Jenkins is alright, he didn't overly wow me on the contender series from what I remember but I might be mixing him up. I liked what I saw from Melsik at points too but he's green, didn't fight the entire 2022 and he's already 30 so I'm losing interest. Card could turn out to be fun, but for a PPV it's pretty damn poor and they know it. Volk vs Islam will do all the PPV sales and as long as there's locals the crowd will be happy. I'm super excited for Della Maddalena vs Brown though, the 3 fights I'll have a lot of fun watching.

Check out Jack's regional scene fights in Oz mate. I think he has a similar level of potential to Jack Della.
 
Main event heavy but it's one of the best fights they could make with their roster. Good card.
 
I like it but I'm aussie... sooo there's a lot of bias
