Nice fight between Usman and Covington. Not as good as their first fight, but that was because Usman didn't take nearly as much damage this time.

Why? Usman clearly won rd 1 and 2. Hell rd 2 could be a 10-8. Rd 3 was super close, could go either way. Rd 4 was Colby. Rd 5 was super close, although I leaned Colby.

    49-46 isn't crazy at all.

And with Kamaru Usman getting the decision win, my last big bet of the night cashes. 2-0 for my original 2 bets pre-event.

    Parlay: Usman + Garry $407 for $300 = won

Most defibitely was a 10-8 wtf is up with these judges not giving 10-8s anymore. In the gaethje fight and this one. Clear 10-8s!

    That'd be 48-46. It's mathematically impossible to get 49 w/o winning 4 rounds.

These were my picks I lost a small parlay having Imavov inside 2.5rounds. Still a crazy good card for me. Went 5-0 with 2 parlays last card as well.. Feel like a straight fortune teller right now lmao

Congrats on the big win. Biggest win ever or are those regular winnings/stake for you? I would shit myself in those last 2 rounds if there was 20k riding on it, was pretty tense even without that kind of money on the line.

Definitely biggest win. I just had a lot of faith in the russians and really liked a couple of match ups. I sweat a little bit at the end there, but at the same time almost welcomed Colby to win because I thought that would have been a hilarious scenario to lose at the very end when usman was -6600 live.

still can't believe the gaethje fight went the distance. that's going to take a lil' while to get over, truly unbelievable glass chin chandler eating gaethje bombs for 3 rounds straght.

he wasn't motivated to win the belt vs olives?

  16. Yeah that put me on tilt for the rest of the event.

I have my theories, but I'll keep them to myself.

Reminds me of when Font kept hitting Garbrandt with shots that would've ko'd him in the past, and he ate them all.

TBH Font Cody is more explainable. He had him at the end of his jab, just stalking him so Cody was bracing for each shot and just on his bike tryna survive. He was getting hit hard but positioning himself to brace the incoming strikes he saw coming.

Chandler should've been done after that uppercut KD. I don't know how the fuck he survived that.

What an event. Probably one of my favorites for a while. I didn't do great betting though - thank god for Chris Curtis and Vera finishing Edgar though. It would have been a rough one without it.
