    Granted, it'll sell 1M buys.

At the expense of fans who got a farce of a main event, no title eliminators and no title bouts.

Why is a quick KO a farce? Shoulder strikes, head kick, power lefts....that’s not a farce.

The main event was great. The bullshit amateurish WMMA co-main was a fucking travesty.

I like how people assume it will sell X amount when we dont have a clue how many is sold via the new deal with ESPN.

IIRC Dana talked about they average 100K buys with ESPN

It's a farce because it's a gimme fight for Conor, against a guy who's now been KOed 3 times in less than a year. Total money grab by the company.

The entire event just moved so slowly up to the Conor-Cowboy fight. I feel like I just didn't really care about the outcome of any of the other fights, they weren't meaningful matchups.

And then the Holm-Raquel fight was just salt in the wound

Conor Mcgregor can sell a card if he was the only one on it, obviously. The rest of the card was just cannon fodder. The main event was an admittedly impressive, albeit anticlimactic beatdown.

It's a meaningless fight that offers little danger to Conor and was cherry picked to make him look good and bring back the hype. He could have faced way better guys. He faced a guy who got toko'd in his last two fights and has 13 losses in his record. For someone who is supposed to be so great, this isn't the type of fighter he should be facing.
