All locked in on this one. As mentioned, I'm almost opposite of last event with most of my plays on favs. Heavy on Lando, Kai, De La Rosa, Young, and Smith/Kim ITD. Light on Alvey, Simon, Gastelum, Buren, Silva/Israel ITD, and Potter Turner ITD. Small/Flyer on Ishihara. Total risk for this event is smaller than last event which says something since last event was almost all dogs.

Has there been much discussion on Young? This will be his 3rd fight in the UFC, first one he went 3 rounds with Volkanovski on short notice, then got a 2nd round ko of that Filipino boxer. Regardless of how his last fight went this guy comes out there to throw down as his gym focuses a lot on striking and defensive wrestling. His opponent has solid ground game but I have a feeling he will want to stand and trade with Young as both guys are up n coming and will want to put on a show and give it their all. I've had a bit of a look at their IG and both started training full time 7-8 years ago, with a lot of emphasis put into their striking.

Given Young's aggression and wanting to prove that his in the big leagues now with his other team mates, this could be a stand up fight right from the get go..if it is I am fairly confident that Young will be able to catch Arnett in the first or second round with his aggression / output and that is where the value is.

Crute is a good match up for Alvey, he is agressive so this should play in favour for Alveys counter and second that Sam should easily defend Jims takedowns.

He's just an average brown belt from a random nobody gym, thats nothing special or significant at all. So yeah, he's pretty mediocre. Or are you saying that cause he got a sub outmuscling one of the worst fighters in the division Craig? Who himself despite being advertised as a grappling specialist is still only a mediocre BJJ Brown belt himself.

A brown belt at 22 from Jean Jacques Machado is considered average now?
You can shit on Craig all you want but 9 out of his 10 wins are by submission so he is a specialist. 2 of them being in the UFC and 1 over a Master of Sambo Ankalaev.

I know this isn't what you're looking for, but it always irks me when I see FDGTD instead of FDNGTD. There has to be one standard way to abbreviate Fight Does Not Go The Distance otherwise it's anarchy!
