Ufc 229 sells out in 3 minutes

Oppurtunistic resellers who will sell tickets at a way higher price. Im sure there are lots of those fuckheads out there

Those are the guys who buy all the tickets. Various events get sold out on the 1st day, first few hours, first few minutes etc. There’s not 20k people sitting online waiting to buy them or show up at the box office trying to score tickets before everyone else. It’s usually like 3 people sitting near each other on iPads that just scoop up 5000 tickets n then go to work on reselling.

i bet alot of staff friends bought em the slimes

Not even close lol.

"Ticket prices are officially set $2,505, $2,005, $1,505, $1,005, $755, $555, $405, $355, $305, $255, $205 and do not include applicable service charges and handling fees, of course."

Lower priced seats 5,000? Yeah...no.

I got mine for $305 yesterday and that's not even nosebleed.

I got through to buy floor seats for $2500 numerous times before getting my ticket.
I did say in my response I'd double check it.

Those cheaper prices weren't there and available when I was looking at it. I must have been only looking at "packages." Like they sell tickets with drink packages & fight week experience packages & I was looking at a "buy me" link long before today. I forget when. They had seating all over the place though, so I assumed that was complete pricing. My mistake.

Not sure what you're referring to with floor seats at 2,500 though. Pretty sure all the floor seats I saw on uFC's website were covered & the cheapest seat was 5,000. maybe they didn't sell all the packages though & so they dropped the price after i saw it.

But there are companies who you buy regular priced tickets through weeks before the actual tickets go on sale... that streamline ticket purchases as soon as they open. I guess maybe you'd either have to get in on one of those deals, or just be right there ready to go yourself when it opens up

I was in Vegas for 194. I didn’t have tickets. I went to a watch party in the mgm. One of the best times I ever had. Watched it on a movie theaters screen with the atmosphere of being at the event. Beers were like 10 bucks but it was fun
That does sound pretty fun I may prefer something like that honestly lol.

How crazy was it when Conor got the KO?

why do people still believe this "sold out in 3 minutes" bollocks

all it means is the re-seller sites bought all the tickets in 3 minutes..

there are literally thousands of tickets for UFC 229 available...

viagogo alone have like 500-1000 on sale

It's game over for this card if Khabib or Conor pulls out. UFC seems to be banking this entire card on only the headliner.

They're taking a risk if an injury happens.

I really want to see Conor KO

Hope fight last longer than that

I'm sure Tony will be waiting in the wings, kicking tires just in case his name gets called.

Absolutely insane. It was weird. The arena and the theatre left out of the same stairwell. Security completely lost control of the mgm grand. Thousands and thousands of people everywhere. Drunk ass kids on blackjack tables and the casino couldn’t do shit to stop it.

Never been to a live event... but if it’s anything like football... I could see it being alright.

Best camera angles is 100% on TV. being up close or esp far away, I feel you can’t really see that well unless it’s directly in front of you. Idk. I get it’s the whole “environment” thing, but meh. Rather sit home comfort of my own home w friends and watch. Just my opinion.

Well yeah I got emailed a code from the UFC newletter for the pre sale yesterday.

I joined the waiting line at 17:30 which was half an hour before they went on sale then once they went on sale I was then moved to another waiting line. Eventually when I did ger through it said "Sorry event is sold out" where a lot of people make mistakes is they then give up thinking there is no tickets but resr assured, there is tickets. Luckily I have a lot of experience buying tickets as I regularly go to Boxing events.

So I just kept refreshing and eventually after 30 minutes I got a ticket for $305

You are right though, touts will have already covered half the tickets weeks ago. They make deals WAYYYY in advance. I doubt any of the $200 were even available to the general public.

Because it means the arena is sold out. Every seat is sold. Secondary markets don’t count

They've been basically sold out since the first day. The pre-sale yesterday only had the 1500-2500 tickets left

That site was retarded though. It never would properly show what was available.
