Will this Pay-Per-View sell more buys in England or in the United States of America?

By WMMA standards those are pretty decent fights.

Do they sell PPV's in Britain? For some reason I thought USA and Canada were they only 2 countries the UFC charged PPV's to.

Holy hell what a shitty card. Wtf is the UFC doing? There have been plenty of good fights they could have taken from FN cards and put on this card.

Not sure if PPVs are free at BT Sport, in my country you have to pay for FOX Sports in order to see UFC events.

I have no issue with the three women's mma fights being in prominent positions on the card.

Particularly given the nature of the matchups. Montano vs. Valentina is a title fight and could be exciting since Montano is a game fighter and Valentina is one of the most technically skilled in WMMA.

Andrade could not be in a dull fight at strawweight if she tried so you know that one will be exciting especially since KK is also generally quite entertaining.

And Esparza is coming off one of her best performances despite a loss on the scorecards. Suarez meanwhile is an obvious future star/title contender.

The thing is none of these bouts will be alluring to people who are not fans of WMMA. Still the quality of those bouts is good. Zabit meanwhile is a beast and Yair is fun to watch. Title fight might be the only dud despite being the one that resonates the most in terms of star wattage and championship relevance.

What the UFC has an issue with though is that price tag. Given what they charge for PPVs, it will take consistently stacked cards to really draw in the buys that they want. People will say what they will about changes in audience or the bubble bursting or what not but I think a major reason UFC ppvs are not selling to the extent they did is the incremental rise in the price tag.

I looked it up and apparently Dodson is fighting Rivera, didnt know about that fight on this card. Guess I'll watch the prelims for that fight.

228 really is a stinker and 227 wasnt anything special. Maybe they're gonna stack the next few.

I don't mind WMMA for the most part, but that is a needlessly shitty card.
Nobody knows or cares about Nicco Montano and her title, so it's a weak co main.
The Andrade vs Karolina fight would've been fine, but that Esparza fight shouldve been on a Fight Night card.

Of course this is a matter of opinion, but imo wmma in general is nowhere near the level of skill or entertainment of that of regular mma. Even if we’re talking about title fights or women who from a wmma perspective are exciting. So by definition a wmma fight for me is an automatic downgrade for a card, regardless of drawing power or importance of the fight, or price of the ppv.

So putting up three wmma fights on a ppv, and not even three huge women fights, is to me a real headscratcher.

Ofc if you truly enjoy wmma this might be a fairly good card, but I think that demographic of the mma fanbase is a very thin one.

It's a great card. WMMA haters are so retarded.

Shevchenko-Montano is guaranteed fireworks. Andrade-Kowalkiewicz and Esparza-Suarez are great fights too.

Plus Magomedsharipov-Rodriguez and Woodley-Till? It's a hell of a card, haters be damned.

I'm more excited about all 3 women's fights than a Woodley fight.

and its still better than last nights card..

Carla v Tatiana is really interesting. time to see if Suarez is legit or if its hype, and should be a really fascinating wrestling battle..

Andrade v Karolina another very fun fight, especially if the jessica that battered Claudia turns up..

then we get to see Nicco shock everyone.

    Whats not to like..

i'd be surprised if this generates over 200k buys. no one buys PPV because of Woodman and no one knows who Till is. Add to these 3 WMMA fights and its going to be a disaster
