UFC 226: UFC 146 part 2?

Looking at the roster & how they will fill out 226 & 227 given the state of injured Champs like Woodley/DJ/Montano as well as Cyborg waiting on an opponent, I feel the best course of action for marketing both ppvs is to have Max/Ortega on 227 with TJ/Cody 2. LA is a huge market with a ton to do socilaly so theyll need 2 huge fights in case 1 falls out 6 days before the card.

For 226, let's do another all HW ppv & restore the division's glory.

UFC 226, July 7th in Las Vegas:

Disagree, if either of those guys ever have to be on the prelims again, something is wrong. Theyre established names and great fighters. Tybura is coming up and youll see him on the main card for years to come

Normally I would agree, but it's HW. Plus If Cain wins they may just give the title shot to Brock or Blaydes if he beats Reem. But if Cain goes in their and mauls Volkov fans will be clamoring for him to fight Stipe. And if DC wins it may be Cain/Volkov winner vs Blaydes or Ngannou/Lewis winner for a Vacant belt. Or maybe DC keeps the belt and fights Brock or rematcjes Stipe. A lot of potential scenarios so yeah I probably shouldn't label it a #1 contender fight but the UFC might as well for marketing purposes
