Almost all the tickets left are resale. Hopefully this leads to more big events in Chicago

The last 2 Chicago cards were Fox cards, with so-so lineups for each.

This is a marquee PPV they're getting.

I agree TS, hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

The downtown Chicago area is amazing. Really nice looking area of the city.

I'm not from Chicago, but i've heard all the Chi-raq rumors.

But the downtown area was the only area of Chicago that I was in, and I can say from experience it's a nice looking area of the city. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I'm pumped to go back for 225.

I was at the last 3. Tj-bareo was by far the best. Schlvenko-holm card was total trash with a brutal main event
 
9 of the 13 match ups include either a current or former champion or has challenged for a title. In some of those 9, both fighters qualify. That's not even counting SF or Invicta championships.

The card is stacked with names and skill.
 
Good. I'm not going but this should get then to return and bring more than fox card again.
 
What is sad is their is a boat load of amazing fighters on that card but CM punk will get the credit all except from the hardcore fans because I hope he gets crippled in this one and quit trying to make money that other fighters need, fucking hand feeding him opponents is a bunch of bullshit. I usually don't say stupid or not this stupid but I hope that mf gets hurt.

And hopefully all the fans on sherdog & beyond purchase it on ppv instead of streaming it like we normally would. Instead if whining about bad ppvs, buy the great cards like this and give the UFC a reason a make ppv cards great. I agree with not buying crap lile ufc 224 but we should support these big cards if we want more of them, iMo

Yeah so a lot of ppl complaining about the punk/Jackson fight but its a great card without it so I'm no longer bothered by it.

You could take the top 6 prelims and have the best FS1 card of the year

Sound logic. Although I bought 224 as well. I thought people were being way too hard on that card, and felt totally vindicated after the fact. One of the better cards I've seen, top to bottom. But watching it at work where it took less than one and a half hours to make money back made that decision easier too.

I was just put off by the 2 Wmma fights because I had no excitement for the main event which is the most important part of the card. Plus Dern/Cooper belonged on FS1 at best. But it was decent on paper with the other 3 fights and it all delivered prettty well thankfully for those who purchased it like yourself.
 
Stacked card... Also. Could be the last we see of Punk. Unless the guy became a Blaster during this training camp. :eek:

Yes it will. As much as I dislike doing it, I'm going to endure an insanely packed bar just to see this one. The good thing is most of my drinks will at least be free cuz I know the bartender well. The crappy part is the bar will be so packed I'll probably only manage to get like 3 poured for me the entire card lol. Either way can't wait!
