So my little brother and some friends are on a US trip, and part of it was to watch UFC 223. They've bought Cage Side seats, and no longer feel the $3000+ to be worth it for Khabib VS Pettis

Is there some way they can get a refund? Anyone done so in similar situations before?

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Full-size it, fine print, ALLLL the way in the bottom left corner. "Card subject to change."

Even if I had millions sitting around I still wouldnt pay 3k to sit cage side and still get worse view than TV.

OH BUT BUT THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING THERE!!!!

this situation is already so embarrassing the UFC might fold this time and end up giving rebates

Yes, under NY rules, if the Main Event changes within 48 hours of the card, all attendees are allowed to seek a refund.

Yeah, nothing like straining your back to see the action while some idiot i "WOOOOO"ing behind you

Lesson learned. If hurts you to lose $3k, then you should have not bought the tix in the first place.

Get 20 or 30 of your friends, hire a private plane and fly to NY now.
When you arrive get your brother and his friends to let you into the Barclays Centre and then smash some shit up.

I think that's how you're supposed to handle this sort of thing, it's bound to work.

Pretty sure you actually can because of the extent of the card change this close to the event, might wanna call up the venue

I have to ask though, like, do you readily know this or did you have to look it up? Pretty badass either way

Both, I knew it offhand because I had been asked about it at the beginning of the week when Tony went down. I wanted to find the specific section in the rules, and another attorney I know who also follows fights had it ready.
