I wish this wasn't such a concern every time. Something's gotta be done. Eventually the UFC will have an enough-is-enough epiphany, like with eye pokes and the new eye poke rule coming in, and changes will be made. Until then, rest assured that there will be more fights cancelled at the last minute, and you'll know - even when it's not revealed at the time or ever - that it had something to do with weight cutting. If someone misses weight by a few pounds and still fights, OK, that's not THAT bad, at least for the fan.

I understand why everyone's on the Moose train at the moment (see he's on a massive tear and all)...and Weidman has dropped his last two fights...but I don't think Mousasi is magically impervious to elite wrestlers all of a sudden. I know the King Mo fight was a long time ago, but he's been fortunate that his BJJ has been good enough to submit anyone else since who could put him on his arse.

Weidman is a phenomenal BJJ practitioner and wrestler...Unless Moose puts his lights out on the feet, I'm with Weidman here.
