Popularity of each fighter from 1 to 10

    McGregor (10) vs Alvarez (4) ---------------------- Rousey (9,5) vs Nunes (3)

    Woodley (7) vs Thompson (6) --------------------- Cruz (7,5) vs Garbrandt (6,5)

    Joanna (6,5) vs KK (4,5) ------------------------------ Cain Velasquez (9) vs Werdum (7,5)

Yoel Romero (5) vs Weidman (8) ----------------- TJ Dillashaw (6,5) vs Lineker (3)

Miesha Tate (8,5) vs Pennington (3) -------------- Louis Smolka (2) vs Ray Borg (1,5)

    UFC 205 total score (52,5) ------------------------- UFC 207 total score (55)

*Based on social media followers, if you have a better system to measure popularity let me know

Fights quality from 1 to 10 (on paper since we haven't watched UFC 207 yet)

McGregor vs Alvarez (5) ---------------------- Rousey vs Nunes (5)

Woodley vs Thompson (8) -------------------- Cruz vs Garbrandt (6,5)

Joanna vs KK (6) -------------------------------- Cain vs Werdum (8)

Romero vs Weidman (6,5) --------------------- TJ Dillashaw vs Lineker (6)

Miesha Tate vs Pennington (5) ---------------- Louis Smolka vs Ray Borg (6,5)

    UFC 205 (30,5) ----------------------------------- UFC 207 (32)

*I gave both McGregor and Rousey fights a 5 because they aren't (won't be) good fights, I mean, they are one sided, you saw it in the McG fight and you will see it in the Rousey fight, either for an easy win for Rousey or an easy win for Nunes

    Do you agree?

Some of the best cards on paper end up being shit shows where people are too scared to commit for fear of losing, and you end up with nothing but boring decisions with little action the whole way through.

Undercard of 205 was also freakish.

    Ronda 9.5
    Cain 9

Do you really think it's that close in terms of their popularity? You're basically saying Cain is to Ronda what Ronda is to Conor in terms of popularity.

I know, but it's hard doing it on a scale from 1 to 10, I should have done it from 1 to 100

I gave you a like for the effort, but I don't think you scaled social media popularity properly at all. Ronda has 4x Twitter followers, 10x+ Instagram followers, and 20x+ Facebook likes. There's no way she should only be a 9.5 if Cain Velasquez is a 9. Sort it out

I explained it one post above yours, it's hard to do it using 1-10 scale, should have done 1-100

    It isn't hard. 1-10 scale and 1-100 scale are the same. 100 = 10. 95 = 9.5. Etc.

If you were to use just FB, Twitter, Instagram, and weigh them all equally, Ronda would have a 9.9, Conor a 8.0, and Cain a 1.2.

If Conor is a 10 then fighters like Cain and Werdum are a 4 or 5. I hate the guy but still order his PPVs to hopefully see him lose.

This was a good spinoff of my thread from an hour ago because yours was more stats and numbers based and less opinionated. Up until you got to the fight quality section where not only is it opinionated, but it is indefensible. How you are not getting trolled by now as so many others before you are on these forums for saying much less questionable things is beyond me. The fact that you score the Rousey/Nunes a 5 on a scale of 1-10 is absurd if not arbitrary. And the pattern of arbitrariness continues from there.

How can you say Garbrandt is more popular than Thompson when Thompsons FS1 headliner did around double the amount of viewership that Codys did.

This might be the worst example of MMA math ever.
