UFC 100 is the most overrated event of all time.

Go refresh your memories. The match ups were not that great. Lots of inflated records like Bisping. The names were average too. Belcher. It was headlined by Brock, lets be real with that also.

Akiyama? Sexy guy but his 1st UFC fight on main card
Paulo Thiago? 2nd UFC fight but on main card.

I think UFC 200 is better and its not even close. Maybe 100 was sentimental for you guys but there has been better cards than that nearly every year.

We don't even have a main event yet and you're saying we're better off than we were when he had Lesnar vs. Mir and GSP as a co-main event? Don't get me wrong, I respect your opinion and I understand why you might think UFC 100 was not that great, but I don't really think an incomplete card is already a better scenario.

I agree with you that UFC 100 is very overrated, but it still looks better than UFC 200 without Conor. If they put Jones vs Cormier. Then it becomes one of the best cards ever.

I was stoked for 100. The fights were kicked in for months and they built all the fights. I couldn't wait to hand over my money.

I'm confused by 200. Still a great card, just weird.

Events are sold on what could be, not what has been.

Hindsight is 20/20.

Truly disagree with the sentiment that 200 is better than 100 in terms of star power. At the moment there are only three fights that interest me, not saying the other fights are bad, just don't interest me. Excited for Aldo v. Edgar II, Sanchez v. Lauzon and Gomi v. Miller.

Look at the 200 card closely....around 60% of the fighters are coming off losses. Not sure how "great" that makes this card.

The guy that annihilated the ufc 100 headliner is on this card.

Coming off losses so what. Better than ufc debuts and inflated records. 4 former champs.

agreed and 2 of those fights mean nothing except that they are fun and entertaining fights

well TS you may want to wait until 200 plays out before you make that statement.
You also failed to point out we got Bones subbing O'Brien, in his 2nd UFC fight.
Miller-Danzig, Old man Coleman-Bonnar plus the Donger...all on the undercard,

Yes exactly, kind of a joke. That was the state of the ufc back then though.

Now we have enough proven established fighters.

With Jones it is not even the best lineup in the last 6 months. 194 was better.

How would u know if u didn't watch 100 live? Which is pretty obvious.

They actually made the fights people wanted to see on 100. It wasn't just a big deal because it was the first card in years where you'd actually heard of all the fighters.

I agree with tp. We will probably get 4 great fights on the main card Jones/DC 2, Aldo/Edgar 2, Tate/Nunes all for a title of some sort and then one 3 rounder that I'm sure they're working to book. I bet all of those things will be decided in the next week and that gives us two months to get some good build up to, if it's what's above, the best card in UFC history.
