So with the recent news of Conor vs Nate 2 being in the works for the main event for UFC 200, do you think its possible due to the negative reaction of the booking that they may have changed their mind and went the Conor vs Edgar, or the Conor vs Aldo 2 route, or just straight up made Conor vs Nate 2 the co-main event and make Robbie vs __________(insert a fighters name here) instead.

With the recent fights made for the event vs how big the UFC brass said 200 will be its starting to looking very lackluster.

Hopefully they make Conor vs Edgar. He needs to defend his belt, a whole division is being held up due to Conors ego not being able to handle being beaten by a normal sized human being.

I heard from a good source that it's Royce Gracie Vs Ken Shamrock and Kimo, triple threat match.

Conor vs. Diaz is definitely the match to make. From what I am seeing on social media and the sports media, its the biggest match possible.

But it is not really an ethical one, i.e. based on sporting competition that actually goes towards rankings etc. It means the square root of fuck all, other than $$$$$$$$$

Hope it's El Tapo Vs Diaz 2 and that UFC 200 make bad PPV sales...

He's had it for 4 months.

No, because those making the most noise are not the most numerous. Edgar/McGregor makes sense for MSG in Oct/Nov (Sooner than Aldo defended his belt). Diaz/McGregor is hot right now. Diaz will never be a bigger star. And I personally am very intrigued by this rematch.

I will be disappointed if they change it. The negative reaction is little more than a hysterical overreaction to the UFC doing something people weren't expecting.

By far. And Edgar/McGregor will have a lot more of an appeal from Edgar's point of view if it happens at MSG.

The only concern I would have for Edgar is if McGregor wins the rematch and they go with GSP/McGregor at MSG. In which case he simply must vacate the belt and let Edgar and Aldo fight for it.

You dont get it, TS. UFC couldnt care less what the hc fans think as long as casuals are interested in the rematch because thats where the majority of the money comes from when talking about big PPV cards.

I love this rematch, both McGregor and Diaz are so entertaining but theres a time and a place and UFC 200 isn't the one. WHAT MORE DOES FRANKIE HAVE TO DO TO GET A TITLE SHOT! The mans almost begging for it, and he damn right deserves it

Main event should be McGregor vs Edger !!! Followed by Diaz vs Robbie Lawler (I understand how tough of a fight this is for Nate but UFC must capitalise on Diaz, and I can't justify putting him in there against RDA considering in their first fight Diaz got dominated)

I thought UFC 200 was gonna be huge, but its turning out to be such a big let down. Conor vs Nate rematch is so pointless and no one wants it, if thats the main event then my God such a let down.

Conor vs GSP would be completely jumping the shark.

Conor vs Edgar at MSG would be huge. Between the Edgar fans and all the Irish in NY people would go crazy.
I got my fingers crossed for that one. MSG will be my first live UFC. Fucking psyched :)

Conor will have to carry the UFC on his back a little longer than expected.

My sources are telling me it's Dada 5000 vs Brock Lesnar in the first ever underwater fight.

The whole Conor needs to defend his belt is fucking BS...he won the title how long ago and all his haters are claiming he is holding up the division....guy won the belt fought 3 months later vs a 155/170r and hes holding up a division.

Cain,
Cruz,
Aldo,
Jones,

Those are all guys that held up a division....but other than Jones are never hated on for it...Aldo fought once a fucking year...Cain and Cruz held the belt for over a year without fighting....thats holding up a fucking division...not defending after 4 months...is not holding up the division.

I think Diaz vs Conor 2 is too soon, but it will sell and it will be fun to watch again, I would prefer Edgar vs Conor or Even Aldo vs Conor 2, but he is definitely not holding up the division like all you hating asshats claim.
