UFC 199: Dan Henderson - Fight of the Century

How was this not a draw

Yeah I had Hendo up the first three rounds 30-27, gave shogun the last two rounds with the last being 10-8 for shogun for a 47-47 draw.

Still one of my favorite fights ever and one of the craziest fights ever.

Great fight but how can you not give Hendo a 10-8 when he rocked and dropped Shogun multiple times earlier in the fight?

Great fight, great rematch. "Who won?"... easy answer, us fans.

That 3rd round he damn near took Shogun's head off but I remember shogun scrambling a bit and I just didn't really score it a 10-8 for whatever reason at the time. Honestly though this was one of those fights where it didn't matter who was announced as the winner. It was an instant classic.

True true. I honestly wish the fight had ended after the 4th round. The 5th round was so one-sided it kinda took away from the back-and-forth war that took place up to that point. And yeah I would been happy if it was scored a draw. Bummed Shogun had to lose but that's how it goes. Felt worse when he lost the rematch too after doing so well up until getting clipped.

Yeah it was pretty exciting though I remember thinking the fight was close to being stopped when Shogun had full mount and was dropping some ground and pound on Hendo, to his credit he managed to survive.

That rematch was so harsh for Shogun though, he looked sharp and got clipped. I felt bad for him.

Dan Henderson literally turned into a zombie when he got hit by that uppercut.

It was a great back and forth battle.

Actually it was a one sided beatdown until Hendo gassed in the fifth and Shogun pitter patted the whole round. Props to Shogun for surviving such a viscous assault for 3 1/2 rounds.

I remember it being back and forth, but it's been awhile and I have the memory of a goldfish.

So I'll take your word for it.
