I've heard mixed things on this one, some saying Conor pussied out and others saying he went out on his shield because he's a true warrior... what actually went down on that fateful night?

Conor himself said he panicked in the post-fight interview.

Pussied out he did. Went out like true warrior Andy Wang.

He panicked and quit essentially. He was caught in submissions early in his career, but nate was the first time he was really beat down and felt like he didn't have anything left.

Was he truly rocked on the feet before he panic wrestled?

He was exhausted and panic wrestled. The problem is people keep using this an example of how bad his ground game is when it's completely irrelevant. He was going to be KO'd and got subbed because he was out of it.

He panicked like many of Nate's submission finishes. Nearly suffered the same fate as Guillard or Miller.

he was exhausted, got stunned which made it worse, shot a takedown thinking he could recover/rest a bit, and got submitted by someone with really good BJJ.

    doesn't mean he's a pussy, has a shit ground game or " quit ".

problem is that theres no grey area with conor, his haters will always think he's trash and shit on him no matter what he does because they're bitter and blinded by hate.

Conor started feeling Nates shots while being gassed. He went for a takedown and was gassed. Nate easily took his back, hit him some more then choked Conor. Conor tapped fast. He knew he had nothing left to give.

    That's how I viewed it.

No. Conor got nervous, grabbed and tried to take Nate down, turned to his stomach exposing his throat and then started slapping the canvas in frustration.

Yes, I think so as well as being gassed from throwing bombs at Nate's head for 8 mins.

The goat was just trying to mix it up and miscalculated his hip movement by millimetres

He came back and dominated Nate in the second fight proving it was a fluke

Yes, Nate rocked Conor a couple times. Conor looked gassed about 8 minutes in, went for a takedown that Nate easily reversed, gave up his back after a few punches and tapped quick.

You need to watch the fight, it's easy to find.
